Night of Biologists in Poland
In Gdańsk (Poland), CANVAS has been presented at three consecutive editions during the Night of Biologists, a Polish national-wide event for science communication of biology research institutions targeting mainly children, pupils, school-classes, but also receiving interest from adult participants.

- Life Science Open Space (LSOS) 2023. The CANVAS project was presented (by Marcin Krzykawski, Real Research CEO) during the LSOS Conference, a European-wide public event held annually in Kraków. The conference is open to scientists as well as the general public, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and engagement between the academic community and society.
- Prof C. Montesano held seminars on Immunology and cancer topics for the annual conferences of Experimental Group for interdisciplinary Teaching addressed to University students, sparking a wide-ranging debate among those present:
– 23rd cycles of conference on May 2023; title: “One Health: the inextricable link between human, animal and environmental health
– 24th cycles of conference on May 2024; title: Cross Kingdom Interaction: communication between the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom through nucleic acids
– 25th cycles of conference on March 2025; title: What a disaster! When the immune system causes harm instead of protecting - In January 2026, at UNITOV in collaboration with the SGI and the UNESCO Interdisciplinary Chair in Biotechnology and Bioethics, a conference-debate was organised on ‘New frontiers of functional foods in the era of global health’, at which new approaches for the production of nutraceuticals effective in the prevention of prostate cancer were presented.
